All information provided must have an opt-in option, not a pre-filled tick box. To ensure that we comply with this we will:
- Provide a tick box on any page where the visitor can submit their details to opt-in for our marketing.
Making sure that we only ask for the information we need to complete the action and no additional details.
- Each form we add will only ask for the minimum information needed to complete the action required.
The visitor must understand how their information will be used to ensure that this happens we must:
- Provide a brief description of how the data will be used.
The data must only be used for the purposes specified on the page where we take their details, we will ensure that is the case by:
- Using a tagging system to group contact based on what their details can be used for so that their data is only processed as agreed.
- Regularly cleanse our data to ensure it is up to date and only being used for the purpose specified.
It must be easy to access our Data Policy. We will make sure that there is a clear link to our policy for any visitor to the page who may submit their data.
They must be able to unsubscribe easily, we will ensure this is so by:
- Making sure there is an unsubscribe link on any e-marketing that is sent out and that the system will unsubscribe them when requested.
